Scholarship Application

The Hibbing College Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that exists to strengthen the availability of higher education at Minnesota North College-Hibbing through financial support for scholarships and enhancement of programs.

This scholarship application will be used to apply for all available Hibbing College Foundation Scholarships.

*Please Note, student's home campus MUST be Hibbing to receive Hibbing College Foundation Scholarships. Applications are accepted January 10th-April 1st.

The Hibbing College Foundation Scholarship Application Period runs from January 10th-April 1st. Scholarship recipients are notified in May, and the scholarship is applied directly to the student's tuition in the upcoming academic year.

High School students that are attending college under the Post Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO), should use their high school information.

Returning Minnesota North College students, please submit an academic transcript which can be printed from their EServices.

Transfer students (students transferring to Minnesota North College-Hibbing) should submit this application with their most recent college transcript.

To ensure the full consideration of this application, submit the completed form by April 1st. The Scholarship Committee is looking for detailed essay type answers on the application. Please tell us about yourself, and why you'd be a good candidate to receive a scholarship. Any application that does not have a transcript will be considered incomplete and will NOT be considered for a scholarship. I give permission to release personal data on this form to HCC staff and other organizations interested in considering me for a scholarship. I authorize HCC to release my HCC transcript for purposes of scholarship selection. Should I be awarded a scholarship, I give the College and the Foundation permission to publish my name as a recipient.
